Girls and their best friends, their horses

There is nothing quite as special as the relationship between a girl and her horse. There are also many men that enjoy the relationship they share with their horses as well. Just like a human friend, if you show your horse love and respect, s/he will do exactly the same in return.

Many young girls are born with a special place in their hearts for horses. They are one of God's most magnificent and beautiful creatures so it's hard not to be drawn to them. With time, the desire to have their own horse often fades due to financial or time constraints, after all, horses do require a great deal of time and attention on a daily basis in the form of grooming, exercising and feeding. For many women, however, that desire never fades and they do whatever it takes to keep a horse. Some horse lovers will even work 2 or 3 jobs to sustain their dream of horse ownership, but as any horse person will tell you, the benefits are well worth it!

For many people, their horses become a part of their family just like a dog or cat can. There is no doubt that strong bonds are formed when you have daily contact with your horse such as grooming, feeding, ground work and play, and saddle work. The more time you spend with your horse the closer you will become and the more s/he will trust you.

The rewards of horse ownership are great as anyone who has their own horse will agree. If you do ever get the honor of caring for one of these most incredible animals, consider yourself a very lucky person!
